Threats our youth face today can silence the stories that help them heal and connect with their history. These behaviors can disrupt performances, discourage young actors, and quiet elders sharing hard-won truth.
Bullying
Ridicule, intimidation, and cruelty can crush the confidence young actors are building through living-history performance.
Adult Harassment
Harassment can silence elders, parents, and volunteers who are sharing truth, memory, and guidance on sacred ground.
Why Safety Matters
When safety fails, the pride built through reenactments, skits, plays, church events, and school programs can stop cold. A secure, respectful environment allows participants to build confidence, honor their ancestors, and carry these stories forward.
